Hello North American Underwater Hockey Players!
On behalf of CanAm Underwater Hockey Gear, I am proud to announce our High Performance Series of Underwater Hockey. The CanAm HP’s will be an invite only weekend for high level hockey players for both Men & Women.
The Goal: Have the highest level of underwater hockey in both Men’s & Womens’s divisions, along with the development of players who are close to the elite/worlds level.
The Venue: These weekends will be held at the Walter Schrader Aquatic Center in Milwaukee, Wisconisin, the same awesome pool that the CanAm Midwestern Championships Tournament will be held in on Jan 28-29. (www.canammidwesternchampionships.com) See website for details of the venue.
When: December 3-4 will be our first event
Who: This email is an open invitation to all players who would like to be considered to be selected for this up coming weekend, or other weekends in the future. Please send an email ASAP to tournament@canamuwhgear.com if you wish to be considered for this Dec 3-4 weekend selection. Please include your Name, Address, and Cell Phone number where the committee can reach you. We need this information before Friday October 14th. The competition will be tough to make these weekends, but it will be worth the effort to train and improve to make the selection for the CanAm Hp’s.
Details: This event will be a combined Women’s and Men’s event with each group having it’s own Round Robin & Play Off Series. Along with our goal to develop players further, we will be having Co-Ed Games during the weekend for those that want to participate in this extra series.
Costs: This event will have separate cost sharing transportation and lodging for each group of players. Pool cost will be shared amongst the whole group.
Committees: A separate steering committee has been formed for both the Men’s and Women’s groups, and will be making contact with you about these weekends and will be responsible for the selection of players.
